Welcome to MailboxUSA
MailboxUSA is one of the leading distributors of Florence mailboxes for residential & commercial use for over 20 years. We offer cluster box units for developments, housing complexes, apartment buildings, and colleges.
We offer Cluster Box Units (CBU's), STD-4C, Vertical, Horizontal & Private mailboxes.
Cluster Box Units (CBU's)
Centralized mail delivery equipment can be in the form of any "clustered" style of mailboxes, but the most popular is the free-standing, pedestal-mounted cluster mailbox or Cluster Box Unit (CBU). These USPS Approved units are most often used in outdoor new residential construction installations, but are also popular in commercial and retail settings. These pedestal-mounted units are widely used for safe, secure access to mail and package delivery 24 hours a day by multiple residents in one central location. Dress up your basic CBU with decorative accessories in two distinct styles to fit your neighborhood.
Florence's robust versatile™ 4C mailbox line was developed with a simple to use modular system that provides a very flexible solution for your individual project needs - taking the guesswork out of meeting the necessary USPS requirements and/or ADA Fair Housing requirements, too. Standard pre-configured options are available for simple installations, or custom-build a solution from a base unit to make your centralized mail center stand out from the rest.

Available in three mounting types, this indoor/outdoor solution can effectively replace an outdated mailbox installation or be designed for any new construction project.
Florence vertical 1250 series mailboxes have been a staple for mail delivery in small apartment communities for decades. Available in fully-recessed models, or surface mount options, these small profile mailboxes are designed to fit into smaller areas with minimal wall-space. Vertical mailboxes are USPS approved for one-to-one replacement purposes only. As these units are top-loading, they should be protected from the weather by installing indoors or under a covered area.
Prior to USPS mailbox regulation changes in 2006, horizontal mailboxes were the standard for many large multifamily residential and business mail delivery applications. However, these time-tested mailboxes may now only be used in direct one-to-one replacements in facilities with U.S. Postal Service mail delivery. When initiating a replacement or renovation project - it is always a good idea to get the approval from your local postal authority before altering the mail system in your building; but in general, if your project is not disturbing the wall the mailboxes are already mounted in, then replacing old mailboxes with a product similar in style is typically acceptable. Any adjustment to the rough opening in the wall and all new construction will require new STD-4C compliant mailboxes.
Horizontal mailboxes are still an excellent mailbox solution for any private delivery installation such as university dorms, internal business office distribution, or a myriad of other private applications.
4C Pedestal Mount Mailboxes
Mounting a USPS Approved 4C module on a pedestal is not a postal approved installation alternative. However, it is an ideal option for central mail delivery applications where the USPS carrier delivers to a single location and the facility manager or other entrusted personnel distributes the mail.
With all the same features and options, security, and durability of the Florence wall-mounted versatile™ 4C modules, pedestal mounted units provide additional mailbox configuration flexibility. Designed to ensure every module is at a standard accessible height, pedestal-mount units come prepared with a master commercial lock to provide easy access to all compartments at once for private delivery personnel.
