The Florence vital™ 1570-16 Cluster Box Unit is a secure, pedestal-mounted centralized mailbox system featuring 16 tenant mailbox compartments, two integrated parcel lockers and one outgoing-mail compartment. Designed for outdoor installation, this USPS-approved CBU is ideal for apartment communities, multifamily properties, condominium developments, homeowner associations, residential subdivisions and commercial developments.
Manufactured from heavy-duty aluminum and stainless steel, the Florence 1570-16 provides excellent strength, corrosion resistance and long-term durability. Its weather-resistant powder-coated finish helps protect the cabinet in demanding outdoor environments while providing a clean, professional appearance.
The front-loading design allows the USPS mail carrier to service all tenant compartments through the master access doors. The carrier access door is prepared for a USPS Arrow Lock, which is supplied and installed by authorized local postal personnel. Each tenant mailbox includes a heavy-duty cam lock and three tenant keys.
Two built-in parcel lockers allow carriers to securely deliver packages that are too large for the standard mailbox compartments. Florence’s double-locking parcel-locker system allows the carrier to place a package inside and leave the parcel key in the recipient’s mailbox. After the recipient retrieves the package, the captive key remains secured in the parcel-locker lock for the next delivery.

Installation Information
The Florence 1570-16 must be securely installed on a properly constructed concrete foundation. Florence recommends concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 PSI at 28 days. Foundation dimensions vary according to the selected slab thickness and local soil and climate conditions.
Consult the Florence installation manual, foundation plan and applicable building requirements before preparing the concrete pad. Coordinate the proposed mailbox location and installation plan with the local postmaster or USPS delivery-planning representative before construction.
After the CBU is installed and securely anchored, contact the local Post Office to arrange installation of the USPS Arrow Lock and activation of mail delivery. USPS proprietary Arrow Locks may only be installed by authorized postal personnel.
